175 assiettes sur mesure en porcelaine de Limoges - Dîner BVLGARI
Maison Manoï had the privilege of crafting the dinner plates for a prestigious gala event.
We were commissioned by Hugues Loiret Saint Loup a scenographer renowned for collaborating with the world’s leading luxury houses.
The very first Limoges porcelain plate
before the application of five enamel colours created specifically for the event.

"An emblematic project showcasing our expertise in bespoke personalised porcelain..."
An Exceptional Production – 4 month development
The creation of these 175 bespoke plates required four months of research, development, and production.
Two months were dedicated entirely to technical trials:
Extensive enamel colour research
High-temperature grand feu firing adjustments
Tests in matte gold and burnished gold finishes
Development of literary quotations applied through chromolithography
Calibration of hand-painted gold filets
Some pieces did not withstand the extreme temperatures of grand feu firing.
Others emerged from the kiln with imperfections, while certain plates could not tolerate the technical constraints caused by pigment density.
Yet through the dedication of passionate artisans, the perseverance of our teams, and the expertise of a highly qualified technical director, every challenge was overcome.
The result lives up to the ambition:
A collection of intense, luminous, perfectly mastered pieces where colour, matte gold, and typography converse with elegance
An International Collaboration
The artistic direction of this event was orchestrated from Rome by Mary Katrantzou.
The scenography was led from New York by Hugues Loiret Saint Loup.
The manufacturing came to life in Limoges, within our ateliers.
Rome. New York. Limoges.
Three cities.
Three creative sensibilities.
One shared pursuit of excellence for a gala in Paris, held in the iconic Oval Room of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France.
This dialogue between international creative vision and French artisanal savoir-faire gave birth to an exceptional scenographic experience.
L'éstampille peinte à la main au dos de chaque assiette

On the occasion of a prestigious gala held at the Bibliothèque Nationale de France in Paris and hosted by BVLGARI, Maison Manoï had the honour of creating 175 bespoke dinner plates for an exceptional event celebrating the launch of a leather goods collection..
Each dinner plate was produced in the Choiseul shape, in extra-white Limoges porcelain.

Fully enamelled in five distinct colours, adorned with literary quotations applied in matte gold chromolithography, and finished with entirely hand-painted matte gold filets, this project stands as an emblematic expression of our bespoke porcelain expertise — dedicated to luxury, high-end event design, and prestigious maisons.
